Comprehension Remediation
The testing battery will allow us to determine the nature of the symbol and concept imagery strengths and weaknesses. These qualitative measures of decoding ability, reading fluency, expressive and receptive language and math skill allow us to not only pinpoint the precise starting point for students, but also individualize their instruction profiles.

To address weaknesses in phonics, phonemic awareness, decoding, reading fluency and spelling, we administer the Seeing Stars ® and/or LiPS (Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing) ® programs.
$60/hr in-person; $50/hr online

When reading comprehension, critical thinking, following directions or understanding word problems are a weakness, we apply the Visualizing and Verbalizing for Language Comprehension and Thinking (V/V) ® program.

Math Remediation
To strengthen the foundational understanding of basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and beginning fractions and decimals, we implement the On Cloud Nine ® program.
Pairing the On Cloud Nine ® program with Visualizing and Verbalizing ® program, students develop their computations skills as well as ability to handle word problems.

Writing Remediation
For development of written expression, we employ the Visualizing and Verbalizing for Language Comprehension and Thinking (V/V) ® program in application to the writing process.

General Tutoring
For basic support in language arts, science, soc. studies, and math that doesn't require an intensive remediation program.
While we utilize various program techniques in our tutoring, we focus on currently addressed concepts immediately and integrate imagery skills to support understanding.
$50/hr in person; $40/hr online

Homeschool Instruction
We administer your chosen homeschool curriculum while utilizing heavy application of the Seeing Stars ®, Visualizing and Verbalizing ® and On Cloud Nine ® program techniques to assist in generalization of those skills to curriculum studies.
